Village on Redwood | Fort Collins, COInterwest prepared preliminary and final development plans, including modifications to the adjacent city street to accommodate parallel parking and a public sidewalk for this affordable housing project on a 9.6-acre site. Village on Redwood features a large community green space, clubhouse with fitness center, playground, dog run and a new City Natural Area with walking trails, a pond and boardwalk. The project meets Fort Collins’ Enterprise Green Communities Guidelines by using various green building techniques to conserve energy and water, and to minimize light pollution.
Twin Silo Park | Fort Collins, COInterwest prepared the utility and grading plans, Drainage and Erosion Control Report, and Floodplain Modeling services for this new 54-acre community park project. Twin Silo Community Park is one of a kind, featuring community gardens, paved recreational trails, an orchard, a BMX park, pickleball courts, a dog park, original artwork designed specifically for the park, and a playground that includes the tallest slide in Fort Collins.
Fort Collins Police Services Facility | Fort Collins, COInterwest provided the site civil engineering design services along with the design of Timberline Road adjacent to the site on behalf of the City of Fort Collins. The 7.5-acre site included a new Police Building, parking for the public and a secured parking lot for police vehicles. Site design included utilities, grading and drainage. The project achieved LEED-Gold certification.
Woodward Headquarters and Manufacturing Campus | Fort Collins, COOur team at Interwest prepared the Master Plan and Final Construction documents in relation to the site, utility, grading, drainage and erosion control for the Woodward manufacturing and office headquarters campus on an approximately 120-acre site in Fort Collins, CO. Highlights of this project include innovative low-impact stormwater management systems, preservation of historic structures and the development of a Natural Areas Floodplain and Wildlife Corridor. Construction plans also included the design and construction administration for improvements to two adjacent arterial roadways involving the addition of curb, gutter and sidewalk, drainage systems and median modifications.
The Foundry | Brinkman, Loveland, COThe Foundry is a new mixed-use development situated on 3.9 acres (three city blocks) in downtown Loveland, CO. The project includes retail, hospitality (a 102-room hotel), a seven-screen movie theater, commercial, residential, as well as under and above-ground parking along with public plazas and alleys. Two city streets run through the development, which is also adjacent to the business segment of a State Highway. Our Interwest team prepared the civil plans required to support the Site Development Plan for the project including utility service connections, grading and drainage design. Additionally, Interwest also prepared design and construction plans for the adjacent local and arterial streets and sidewalks that connect the various components of the complex to each other, as well as the surrounding downtown area.
