Prop 68 Landscape Architecture Urbanism Park Development

Projects Antelope Creek Park

Interwest has been contracted to provide engineering, landscape architecture and design services to create a new Antelope Creek Park in the City of Woodlake, California.

The park development will convert an existing olive grove into a 20-acre community and regional destination that will include:

  • Flexible event lawns
  • Exercise and fitness trails
  • Multi-purpose sports field
  • Baseball and softball fields
  • Educational gardens
  • Basketball and volleyball courts
  • BMX/Skate park and pump track
  • Wayfinding
  • Children’s nature play area

Funding for the project stems from Proposition 68, also known as State of California Parks and Water Bond 2018 which aims to create financial resources for parks in urban and historically disadvantaged communities.

The City awarded the contract to Interwest Consulting Group who is co-chairing the project with its sister company Calvin, Giordano & Associates, Inc. (CGA), a multidisciplinary firm offering a broad range of professional services, most distinctively, its Landscape Architecture and Urbanism division. With 85 years of experience in creating award-winning projects, CGA brings a wealth of design expertise to the Interwest ‘s exceptionally talented Land Development team.

This is one of the many park development projects using Proposition 68 funding or public grants that Interwest is currently designing for jurisdiction in California.

The project is currently under design phase.
