Our role focuses on independent eligibility determinations and compliance oversight, ensuring that tenant relocation benefits are applied accurately and in accordance with local regulations.
Services include:
- Conducting household interviews and eligibility assessments
- Determining applicable relocation benefits under the RSO
- Preparing required documentation and case files
- Coordinating with tenants, property owners, legal representatives, and City staff
- Maintaining detailed case tracking and reporting to support program transparency
Interwest’s work supports LAHD’s mission to ensure that residents are treated fairly and receive the protections and benefits they are entitled to under the City’s Rent Stabilization Ordinance.
Interwest serves as an independent resource to ensure that all determinations are applied consistently, transparently, and in full compliance with City requirements.
