Award-winning Partnership

 

The Interwest Team has been working with the City of Perris, California on a new community park utilizing a grant from California’s Prop 68. The city broke ground on the Enchanted Hills Park in 2021 and celebrated its grand opening in August of 2022. The park was selected as the APWA, Southern California Chapter’s Best Park Award this year. We are proud to be part of such a great project. Congratulations on your accomplishment team!

Interwest Team selected to help the City of Oxnard with a $3.5M grant application

The Interwest team was recently selected to assist the City of Oxnard, CA with preparing a grant application for the Ventura County Transportation Commission (VCTC) 2022 Call for Projects. The proposed project is called “The City of Oxnard Accessible Pedestrian Enhancements Project” that will improve pedestrian safety at 17 intersections with upgrades including ADA accessible curb ramps, accessible pedestrian signals, shortened pedestrian crossing distances, high visibility crosswalks with advance limit lines, and leading pedestrian intervals.

The application effort was led by Seth Jenison, Traffic Engineer, and included selecting project locations, preparing preliminary design exhibits, and estimating total project costs. The $3.5 million application was ranked the highest out of all applicants with a score of 83, while the second highest application received a score of 74. We’re extremely proud to help bring such an exciting project to the City of Oxnard and enhance their reputation throughout the entire County of Ventura and even more proud of Seth for his amazing work.

Phase One of Modesto’s State Route 132 West Project Completed

The City of Modesto celebrated the completion of Phase One of the State Route 132 West Project with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Rosemore Bridge. The $100 million project has been in the works for over 60 years so seeing it completed was truly a reason to celebrate.

Interwest’s Real Estate team provided Right of Way support by assisting with property appraisals, acquisitions and relocations of properties impacted by the project.

Making Progress on the Acrisure Arena

We love seeing projects come to life! The new Acrisure Arena, a 300,000 sq ft event venue broke ground on June 2, 2021. The Interwest team has provided support for this project in a number of ways:

  • RFI’s
  • AIC Study
  • Plan checks
  • All required inspections

The construction crews have been hard at work trying to get the arena finished in time for the Firebirds Hockey season to get started. Our team is there to help keep things moving while ensuring everything will be safe for event-goers once it is open.
