Pamela Yugar is an experienced Community Services Director with over 28 years of experience in the Parks and Recreation profession. She has worked for a variety of California cities in her career, including Alhambra, Walnut, Azusa, Bell Gardens, Bell, Huntington Park, Rosemead, South Pasadena, and San Juan Capistrano. Pamela is the current director of the Interwest Community Foundation, which is the heart of Interwest Consulting Group. She plans, programs, manages, and directs all philanthropic activities including fundraising, grant writing, creating partnerships with local business groups, cultivating and managing relationships with donors, and working with community leaders to establish programs for communities in need. She also provides project management, grant writing and administration and budget assistance for Interwest’s municipal agency clients. Pamela currently serves as a commissioner on the City of Boulder Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, as a Board Member of The PLAY Foundation, a nonprofit supporting parks and recreation, and is also on the Boulder Tree Trust committee.
Having started her relationship with Interwest as a public agency client, Pamela appreciates working for a company that prioritizes personal relationships with their clients and the communities they serve. She has been proud to bring that commitment a step further with the creation and management of the Interwest Community Foundation.
When she’s out of the office, Pamela enjoys swimming, hiking and visiting fun foodie restaurants. She’s happiest anywhere by the beach or just on the couch at home with her family and fur-babies.
