Throughout her career, Nicole has been very active in professional organizations like APWA, ASCE, and ITE. She is a dedicated professional and driven leader, focusing on mutually beneficial relationships while providing exceptional customer service. She is a life-time member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and a past member and officer of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). She currently serves as co-chair for the American Public Works Association’s Southern California Public Works Institute Committee where she focuses on helping to educate future Public Works professionals. She has 25 years of professional experience, 19 of those in a municipal Public Works environment.
Nicole is committed to community service and is passionate about the development and advancement of young professionals. She enjoys working with a team of professional, caring, fun, hard-working individuals who collectively contribute to the delivery of outstanding services to our clients, and every day she wakes up excited to collaborate with that team to enhance the lives of others.
When she’s not behind her desk, Nicole is training for her next half-marathon or mud-run, or spending time with her two children, five guinea pigs and two dogs.
