Mark Berg Earns ICC’s Highest Level of Code Council certification – Master Code Professional

Master Code Professionals are responsible for all technical and management aspects of code enforcement with duties that range from the management of a code enforcement department to the supervision of inspectors and plan reviewers.
Interwest Consulting Group (Interwest) applauds Mark Berg for earning the International Code Council’s Master Code Professional (MCP) Designation, the highest level of Code Council certification and the “gold standard” for demonstrating proficiency in the code profession. Mark joins the elite group of MCP’s worldwide whose achievements continue to benefit both the code enforcement profession, as well as their communities.
The earn the Code Council MCP designation, a candidate must first pass 10 core ICC exams plus a number of elective Code Council exams. Typical MCPs hold 17 or more Code Council certifications. The MCP designation requires certified individuals to complete an additional 60 hours of Continuing Education Units ever three years to maintain active status.
